Organize and share your Adobe Illustrator resources and creative project files with Projects in Astute Manager Pro. This new addition to our creative asset management service brings artwork, brushes, swatches, workspaces, and supporting documents into shared collections, helping your team access the resources they need and install them to the appropriate locations.
A creative project often needs more than artwork. There are the brushes and swatches used to create it, the workspace that keeps your tools within reach, and the supporting documents, images, and reference files that help everyone get started.
Projects gives you a place to bring these resources together, organize them into packs, and share them with your Teams.
Keep everything you need for a project together
Projects can contain multiple packs, helping you organize resources around a client, brand, training course, or creative brief.
You can create new Project Asset Packs containing any file types, or add existing packs from your shared team assets, including Illustrator Workspaces, Brushes, and Swatches, or other Project Asset Packs.
For example, a brand Project could bring together guidelines, logos, reference images, and an existing team Swatch Pack.
Projects can also help you onboard new Team Members. A training Project could include practice artwork, supporting documents, Brush Packs, and the Workspace used throughout the lessons.
Bring together the Workspaces, Brushes, Swatches, and supporting files they need in a shared Project. Each element of the collection installs into appropriate locations with one click.
Add a description, preview image, tags, and associated URLs to give your team the context they need alongside the files.
One Project with the right destinations
Bringing resources together is only part of the job. They also need to reach the right folders:
Project Asset Packs are installed in the folder defined by the Project (eg. within Documents, Desktop or other folders).
Included Project Asset Packs created in another Project are placed in that Project’s intended destination folder location.
Included Host App (eg. Illustrator) resource packs retain their correct application-specific installation destinations.
How to start a new Project in AMPro
Click + New Project, give it a name, choose its local folder, and select the Teams you want to share it with. You can also add optional details, including a description, tags, and URLs, to help people locate, identify, and understand the Project.
Once inside the Project, click + Project Pack to choose between two options:
Create a new pack: Name your pack, browse for files or drag them into the window.
Add existing packs: Select any available Project or Illustrator team packs you want to include, bringing existing shared resources into the collection.
This lets you combine files prepared for a particular job with resources your team already uses.

Projects is included in all three Astute Manager Pro Teams tiers, with the same Projects features available across each. Your plan’s storage allowance determines how much content you can store.
